Phildiz Studios
A gallery-grade web presence for a fine-art photography studio that exhibits in Manila and New York.
Challenge
Phildiz Studios was building a body of work that deserved a museum wall — portraits, landscapes, the 'Nature's Symphony' series shown from Camp John Hay to New York — but the studio's web presence read like a generic photographer's template. Collectors, wedding clients, and corporate headshot buyers were all landing on the same page and getting none of the cues they needed. The signal lost in the noise was the founder's craft.
Approach
We treated the site as a gallery: full-bleed compositions, generous white space, a typographic system tuned for editorial captioning, and a curatorial structure that lets each series stand on its own. We built an image pipeline that serves AVIF/WebP at gallery resolutions without sacrificing first paint, separated commission funnels by audience (collector, wedding, corporate, institutional), and gave the studio a CMS clean enough that every new exhibition ships in under an hour.
Outcome
Commission inquiries more than doubled inside the first six months, weighted toward the higher-margin portrait and exhibition work the studio actually wants. Gallery pages render full-frame in under a second on mobile. Phildiz now uses the site as the credential it leans on when approaching curators in new markets.
“I wanted the site to feel like walking into one of our exhibitions. The team understood that on the first conversation — and then they built it.”
